Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

Entry is open to residents of WA who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

There are three (4) pools of prizes in this competition. The pool prize that the participant is eligible for depends upon which city event they wish to attend (see number 7). To enter participants must register or if they are already a twitter member login to the twitter stream via www.becksuberselektor.com.au or directly via twitter at http://twitter.com/uberselektor

Step 1: Uberselektor tweets “So what I've got for you, kids, is 5 double passes and ONE DOUBLE VIP PASS to each #BerlinSessions show. Retweet this to play with me!”

Step 2: Participants Retweet the tweet from Step 1 to become eligible for the promotion

Step 3: Uberselektor tweets: “@name tell me which city you want tickets for.”

Step 4: Participant sends an @reply to Uberselektor stating which city they wish to attend. Their answer determines which pool they are eligible for.

Step 5 (Pool 1): Uberselektor tweets “Sydney first! Just write me a 140 char poem on why you should go. May the funniest tweet win! (add #Berlinsessions too.)

Step 5 (Pool 2): Uberselektor tweets “Brisbane’s up! Just write me a 140 char missive on why Berlin rocks. Most original tweet wins! (add #Berlinsessions too.)

Step 5 (Pool 3): Uberselektor tweets “Melbourne’s turn. Write me a Haiku about Berlin and add #BerlinSessions. Best Haiku wins

Step 5 (Pool 4): Uberselektor tweets “Adelaide Radelaide! Name something Adelaide could teach Berlin. Most original tweet wins! (add #Berlinsessions too.)

Limit of one entry per person

The competition commences at 15.45 EDT on 11/02/09 and closes at 16:00 EDT on 05/03/09 (“Entry Period”).

This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. The best entries, as determined by the judges, will each receive a prize. Number of tickets available for each competition:

Pool 1: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass
Pool 2: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass
Pool 3: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass
Pool 4: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass

Judging will take place at the times listed below at Suite 2, Level 2 2-12 Foveaux Street Surry Hills 2010. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Holler Sydney.

Prizes consist of:

Pool 1: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass to the Sydney Berlin Sessions on 24/04/09/ (RRP $66ea per Double Pass)
Pool 2: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass to the Brisbane Berlin Sessions on 25/04/09/ (RRP $45ea per Double Pass)
Pool 3: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass to the Melbourne Berlin Sessions on 01/05/09/ (RRP $66ea per Double Pass)
Pool 4: 5 x Double Passes and 1 x VIP Double Pass to the Adelaide Berlin Sessions on 02/05/09/ (RRP $45ea per Double Pass)

All other ancillary costs including but not limited to insurance, taxes, meals, drinks, transfers and any and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.

In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

The winners will be notified by direct message on Twitter within 24 hours of the prize draw.

The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.

The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Perth International Arts Festival and BOCS Ticketing. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of the conduct of Perth International Arts Festival and BOCS Ticketing or otherwise as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify cancel, terminate or suspend the competition.

Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. Further, entrants agree that the Promoter has an unrestricted, irrevocable, transferable, divisible right and licence to use and modify their entry for the purposes of the Promoter's business without the payment of any further fee or compensation. . The entrant agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to give effect to this arrangement as a precondition to being awarded their prize. To the extent permitted by applicable law, entrants unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any moral rights in their entry.

Entrants/Participants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage gift if it would breach any relevant laws, codes or policies including those of the relevant liquor licensee relating to the responsible service of alcohol. Entrants should consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the NHMRC Australian Alcohol Guidelines: for males, up to 6 standard drinks on any one day, no more than 3 days a week; and for females, up to 4 standard drinks on any one day, no more than 3 days a week. The Promoter supports the responsible service of alcohol.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 1800 308 388 during office hours.
